Xianne: A Comedy of Cultures: Volume One (review)

* I was given a copy of this book for an honest review in return *

Book Description
Publication Date:October 10, 2012
At ARTHUR C. CLARKE station, four 24th century youths—Jim Street, Keira Bond, Suki Takeda, and Saxon Caine—join the System’s most famous ship, the luxury yacht/freighter XIANNE. There they encounter the mysterious, highly-eccentric, Captain Tom Duncan; his lovely CMO, Dr. Sharon Miles; and Chief Engineer Moses Jones. They escape an Earth burdened beneath heavy-handed laws, injustice, and fear; yet, liberated by abundant power—thanks to Helium-3 Fusion Reactors—and the Porn Culture’s near-eradication of the sexual taboo. The time of their lives…will change their lives forever…as their journey begins aboard XIANNE….

I have to say that I really enjoyed reading this book. I find this book was funny. There was a lot of action thru out the whole book. You just have to get thru the first few chapter. I find those are the chapter that was an intro to them all. There was one part in the book that I had to reread out loud because I thought I read it wrong. It had me laughing. When read out loud my son if laughed and asked what I was reading. So grab yourself a copy and find out who was called Chicken butt and why.

I can’t wait to read the second book.

“Sexual orientation is just a matter of our preference.”
